The room was certainly much more dated than the ones shown online however the staff were lovely, the view was good, it's fantastic location l, and it's good value for money. The room was showing signs of wear and tear, and is certainly in need of a re-do- also having to close off the bathroom using what appear to sliding wardrobe doors is a little odd! However the staff were so lovely and helpful. I saw them booking dinner and taxis for other guests, and they helped me with directions. The view over Launceston was fantastic, and it's so close to the centre of town, it's a great base for a weekend away. For it's price is recommend it, however if you're after a spa room for a romantic weekend, maybe ask for one of the renovated rooms that seem to appear in photos.
Clean and comfortable, the 2 bedroom apartment we had had a fantastic view of the city, as well as a lovely view of a park behind. Parking was convenient and city shops and restaurants were a short walk away. Really enjoyed our stay!
Adina Place Motel Apartments has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under? Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
