About Old Whisloca Cottage

Book Direct with the Owner at Old Whisloca Cottage with Tourism TAS in Blessington Click on the Email or Call Now button to get your special price.

The rugged peaks of Ben Lomond National Park loom behind this large working farm with cattle, sheep, crops and forests. Its a peaceful place to relax, play tennis or fish for trout on the North Esk River. At dusk, native animals emerge from the bush - kangaroos, wallabies, possums and Tasmanian devils. On winter nights, snuggle up to the crackling wood fire to warm up. Your comfortable cottage is a good base to explore the ski fields and bush walks in the National Park and a short drive from the historic village of Evandale with its fine antique shops, stained glass workshop, cafes and restaurants and the chance of a bargain at the famous Sunday morning market.
