Faversham House is a historic National Trust and Heritage Council luxury guest house and conference / function centre situated in the heart of York.
Faversham House offers a choice of seven spacious air-conditioned mansion bedrooms with en suite or private bathrooms, and an elegant comfortable drawing room and veranda. Select a book from the eclectic and ever growing library or just enjoy a good old fashioned chat with your companion.
Set in five acres of garden and vineyard, relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah whilst enjoying the views to Mount Brown. A choice of homemade breads, jams and poached fruits make sure that no one leaves the table hungry after their home-style buffet breakfast.
Also available are six heritage bedrooms set around the picturesque courtyard, with reverse cycle air-conditioning. Two are en suite rooms (one with a claw foot bath), the other four sharing bathroom facilities. Guests of the courtyard take breakfast in the dining hall and also have access to the main house and gardens.
